VOLUNTEERING AT SMITHVILLE MANSION

Interested in volunteering?  We would invite you to join us.  Volunteers are needed in every area of the Mansion.  Some of the areas to donate your talent and time are listed below.

TOUR DOCENTS

We will provide you with the necessary historical training about Smithville Mansion to enable you to conduct tours.

TEAS/SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year the Friends of the Mansion at Smithville participates in fundraising events at the Mansion.  We are always in need of volunteers.  If you have any interest volunteering at teas, special events, concession stand, directing visitors, help with mailings, photography

GARDENS AND GROUNDS

Each spring, Victorian plants are added to our grounds.   The enlargement of Agnes’ Herbal and Medicinal garden will continue.  We need help with planting, weeding, deadheading or watering. We also decorate outside of the mansion for our annual Victorian Christmas celebration.

VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS

Groups and individuals are invited to help decorate the Mansion for our Victorian Christmas season.

CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE

We need help in the Christmas Boutique during the month of December.  Donated items to sell in our Boutique are also appreciated.
